Huffman Picks up Sport Mod Victory!
The IMCA sport mods started the evening off in Hutchinson, Warren Huffman won the only heat race for the class. The main event started with a front row of Warren Huffman and Alex Wiens, Huffman stormed off to an early lead and led easily until a caution with four laps to go stacked the field back up. Huffman powered back to a decent sized lead and was untouched. Warren Huffman picked up his first win of the season, his previous best finish of the year was a second place run at Salina on May 10th. Second went to Alex Wiens out of Newton, KS, and third went to Austin Aumiller out of Hutchinson.

Williams Grabs Another Hobby Win!
Billy McBride was able to pick up the only hobby stock heat race win of the night in Hutchinson, the front row featured Billy McBride and Cody Williams leading the field to the green flag. Williams and McBride battled closely the first lap, but lap two saw Williams settle into the race lead. Gage Hubbard made a charge halfway through the event but saw his night end early after riding the backstretch wall with the right side of his car, luckily not rolling the car. Williams led the field to a restart with two laps to go and ran away with his seventh win of the season, and his 105th IMCA win. Second went to Billy McBride who was nursing a sour engine, third was Garrit Caswell, and fourth was Blake Spear. Cody Williams was hard charger with one spot gained.

Hamilton Breaks Through at SaltCity Racing!
William Nusser and Tim Hamilton both picked up modified heat race wins at the state fairgrounds track. They shared the front row with Hamilton on the pole, Hamilton jumped out to the early race lead, and quickly pulled away from an intense battle for second place. Nusser, Peyton Burkhart and Jake Nightingale all competed throughout the feature for the second spot. Lapped traffic in the final five laps did not slow down Hamilton as he was able to put the bad luck behind him and win for the first time with his brand-new race car. Night number five on the car was the magic night for the Lindsay, Oklahoma driver who switched from the Southern Sport Mod to the mod in 2022, as he picked up his second career modified win. Peyton Burkhart out of Hutchinson finished second, third was William Nusser out of Larned, fourth was Hutchinson's Jake Nightingale, and fifth was Wichita's Randy Wilson. Hard charger in the event was Peyton Burkhart who gained one spot.

Reimer Holds off Miller in Stock Car Action!
Kaleb Dale, Mike Petersilie and Jayce Reimer all picked up stock car wins in Hutchinson, their feature event lined up with a front row of Mike Petersilie and Jayce Reimer, the opening lap saw Petersilie get loose in turn three and collect a few cars, everyone was able to continue after fixing flat tires, and pulling sheet metal. Reimer jumped to the race lead on the restart and started clicking laps off. Caution came out with ten laps to go as Ryan Carrey and Kaide Gropp saw their cars get together down the backstretch and stick together. Reimer restarted the field and continued to lead. With three laps to go Reimer and Miller found lapped traffic, Miller tried to make the bottom work, but Reimer powered back on the outside to lead the final three laps. Jayce Reimer grabbed the hometown win, his first of the year. Second went to Scott Miller also from Hutchinson, third went to Partridge's Kaleb Dale, fourth was Hutchins0n's Mike Burian, and Hoisington's Mike Petersilie finished fifth after rebounding from the earlier incident. Hard chargers in the event included Colten Kelley and Dylan Chambers up six spots each, other nice runs included David Brown and Chris Griffin up five spots each, Kaleb Dale and Mike Burian gained three spots each.
