We are just two nights away from honoring a legend in our sport, Jeff Hartwell at his memorial race, which also doubles as championship night at the Thomas County Speedway. Drivers have been competing fiercely and respectfully all year long, and the points battles are heating up. This article will take you through the top ten in points in each class, and detail the racers seasons!
The sport compact battle is one of the closest as first place is totally up for grabs going into the final night, this class has seen Gage Porter lead the way in wins, but also saw Brock Leibhart and Kyle Mortensen collect wins.

3. Chris Glass (49C) 0 wins, 3 top five runs, 4 top ten runs, 128points, 4 feature starts
4. Kyle Mortensen (03K) 1 win, 3 top five runs, 104 points, 3 feature starts
5. Kaishen Brack (8B) 0 wins, 3 top five runs, 103 points, 3 feature starts
6. Grant Logue (16L) 0 wins, 2 top five runs, three top ten runs, 99 points, 3 feature starts
7. Nathan Vollbracht (1N) 0 wins, 1 top five run, two top ten runs, 94 points, 2 feature starts
8. Blake Fladgard (3F) 0 wins, 1 top five run, 65 points, 1 feature start
9. Jarrett Marker (808) 0 wins, 1 top five run, 34 points, 1 feature start
10. Zack McLaughlin (7M)
The sport mod class has been dominated by the hometown boy of Josh Barnhart all year as he has collected five of the six feature wins. Adam Weber has the other win, but finds himself buried in the points. Class veteran Blaine Walt is further down than normal, as the competition has closed in on the 14W camp this season. This class also has seen young guns Josiah Lopez and Donovan Ohlrogge with solid runs and gains!

7. Adam Weber (3) 1 win, 3 top five runs, 4 top ten runs, 5 features, 172 points

The hobby stock class has been dominated by Overton, Nebraska's Zach Olmstead leading the way, and has seen a mixture of young guns, class rookies and veteran drivers go at it. Dylan Bell has the lone win outside of Zach Olmstead, currently brother Brayden Hilzer has out performed sister Alicia Hilzer in the track. Standout sport compact track champion Ted Trumbo finds himself solidly in the top ten in his first hobby stock points campaign.

The stock car class features a tight points battle, as this class has seen multiple drivers visit victory lane, different drivers finding the top five each night, and solid racing every night out. No driver has won more than one race, six different winners in six races so far.

10. Tyler Tipton (95) 1 top five run, 4 top ten runs, 5 features, 158 points
The modified class has seen a pair of drivers in Eddie Belec and Clay Money both grab two wins a piece, while Dylan Sherfick and Dominic Ursetta have the other two wins. This class has seen some of the most consistent racing, and respectful racing. Veterans Mike Bainter and John Fabrizius both hold top five spots in this class. Rookie Dalton Bell currently sits in tenth place.
