Jake Schwien Wins Compacts!

Kaishen Brack and Jake Schwien won the two exciting compact heat races that saw both fields go four-wide at times. Their feature had a front row of Nathan Vollbracht and Kaishen Brack, Brack took the initial lead and led for several laps before Jake Schwien charged from his eighth place starting spot, Schwien took the lead and held on for the remainder of the event. Jake Schwien grabbed his first win of the season, second was Kaishen Brack, third was Kiowa Higdon, fourth was Kyle Mortensen, and fifth was Gage Porter. Hard chargers in the event were Jake Schwien and Dan Kruse who gained seven spots each, other nice runs included Kyle Mortensen and Mitch Conner up six spots each.

Williams Tops Hobby Field!

Dylan Bell, Cody Williams and Zach Olmstead all won hobby stock heat races. Their feature event started with a front row of Ted Trumbo and Hayden Kelly, the rookie Trumbo led the first lap, a couple cautions helped the heavy hitters advance through the field. Williams took the lead from Trumbo and the fans would be treated to an amazing battle between Williams, Bell and Olmstead, three of the top drivers in the state. The trio started trading sliders and crossovers with Williams withstanding each challenge from his competitors. Cody Williams grabbed his fifth win of the season. Second was Zach Olmstead, third was Dylan Bell, fourth was Garrit Caswell and fifth was Carson Hageman. Garrit Caswell was hard charger with eleven spots gained, other nice runs included Chris Lohrey and Anna Minks both up seven spots each, Dylan Bell and Zach Olmstead gained six spots each, and Jake Wharton gained five spots.

Leonard Holds Off Late Model Field!

Brandon Conkwright, Scott Rhoades, Kylan Garner and Andy Bryant all won Revival Super Dirt Late Model heat races. Josh Leonard rocketed to the lead in the pole dash. That set Leonard up to start the twenty-five-lap main event from the front row alongside Eli Ross. John Hansen and Leonard battled throughout the event with Leonard leading early on, once the leaders caught lapped traffic, Hansen gained the lead. In the closing laps Leonard worked by Hansen to regain the race lead and went on to pick up the feature win. Josh Leonard picked up his first feature win of the season. Second went to John Hansen, third was Wamego, KS’s Brandon Conkwright, fourth was Hutchinson’s Jake Nightingale. Fifth was Beloit’s Dan Smith. Hard charger in the event was Dan Smith who gained eight spots, other nice runs included Dylan Schmer up seven spots, and Jimmy Vanzandt up seven spots.
