Connor Schwien Holds off Compact Field!

Connor Schwien won the only sport compact heat, their twelve-lap feature event started with a front row of Connor Schwien and Dan Kruse. Schwien took the early race lead, while Kyle Mortensen started to chase him down. Schwien would quickly build a healthy advantage over Mortensen, as cars started dropping out of the event with issues. Schwien would lead wire to wire to pick up the event win, his fourth of the season. Second was Kyle Mortensen, third was Kaishen Brack, fourth was Dan Kruse and fifth was Makennon Sanders. Hard charger in the event was Kaishen Brack who gained two spots.

Barnhart Collects Sport Mod Win!

Josh Barnhart, Cody Gearhart and Brianna Maughlin all collected sport mod heat race wins. Their twenty-lap main event started with a front row of Blaine Walt and Josh Barnhart. Barnhart got the early lead and started to pull away from the field. Meanwhile, Jacob Olmstead and Brianna Maughlin were moving throughout the field. Caution came early on as Blaine Walt went for a spin by himself in turn two; he would be able to continue. Barnhart would lead the field to a restart; Dylan Jacobson and Cody Gearhart would start moving through the field, as they tried to track down a very fast Josh Barnhart. No one could catch Josh Barnhart as he picked up his fourth win of the season, after winning three events in Colby earlier this year. Second was Cody Gearhart, third was Dylan Jacobson, fourth a nice rebound for Blaine Walt, and fifth was Brianna Maughlin. Hard charger in the event was Cody Gearhart who gained nine spots, other nice runs included Jasen Gray up eight spots, CJ Pfannenstiel up six spots, Dylan Jacobson up five spots and Kamren Gruber up four spots.

Richards Outduels Stacked Hobby Field!

Dillon Thompson, Brady Bencken, Cody Williams and Dylan Bell all won hobby stock heat races. While Mitchell Fischer, James Phelps, Carson Hageman and Levi Jones all transferred from the b main. Their twenty-lap main event started with a front row of Dillon Thompson and Garrit Caswell. A four wide battle would ensue right away for the race lead. Caution came out on the frontstretch as Eric Cross was spun out. An original restart minus the cars that left the surface would ensue, with Thompson gaining the early lead, meanwhile Zach Olmstead and Dillon Richards were quickly grabbing positions as they would force things three wide. Thompson came for a spin in turn three after Olmstead tapped him. The field would restart with Thompson back in control. Richards and Olmstead would put pressure on the leaders right away, with Bingston Rogers trying to make the bottom while the heavy hitters were on the top side. Olmstead grabbed the race lead and opened a nice margin over Dillon Richards. Olmstead would lead for several laps before caution came out for Rogers and Brady Bencken spinning after making contact. On the restart Richards made the bottom work momentairly in three and four, but Zach got him back down the frontstretch. Meanwhile, Cody Williams threw his hat into the ring the next lap. Olmstead continued to hold the lead, a restart with six laps to go saw Richards take the lead for half a lap, but Olmstead grabbed the lead down the frontstretch again. The duo fought side by side throughout the remainder of the feature, with Richards grabbing the lead with three laps to go after throwing a slider in three and four. Olmstead fired back with a slider in turns one and two to try to take the lead on the final lap, but Richards made the crossover work to hold the lead. Olmstead tried to fire it in, one final time in turns three and four, but could not make it stick. Allowing Cody Williams to get by. Dillon Richards picked up his thirty-first win of the season! Collecting a $1400 payday in the process. Second was Cody Williams, third was Zach Olmstead, fourth was Dylan Bell, and fifth was Dillon Thompson. Hard chargers in the event were Dillon Richards, Cody Williams, Mitchell Fischer and Levi Jones, who all gained ten spots each. Other nice runs included Carson Hagemen up eight spots and Dylan Bell up five spots.

Pfeifer Holds Rogers off at Line in Stock Car Thriller!

Bobby Eubanks and Jason Rogers collected stock car heat race victories; their twenty-lap main event started with a front row of Garett Hager and Cody Ghumm. Garrett Hager got the early lead but quickly Troy Burkhart passed him down the frontstretch to lead the opening lap. Burkhart and Hager would battle side by side for a lap or so, meanwhile Brett Berry, Jason Rogers and Kyle Pfeifer were flying to the front. Burkhart opened a healthy lead after a few laps, until Cody Ghumm stopped short of the infield to bring out a caution. Troy Burkhart would bring the field to a restart and would be challenged by Berry and Rogers right away three wide. Troy would get too high in turns three and four and fall back and bring out a caution. Brett Berry and Jason Rogers would bring the field back to a restart and would battle closely. Pfeifer would keep pressure on that duo, and late in the feature Berry would fall back with an issue. Rogers and Pfeifer battled side by side to end the feature, with Pfeifer crawling around the bottom groove, to gain enough momentum to win at the line by the slimmest margin. Kyle Pfeifer grabbed win number three of his season, after winning one in Colby and one in Hays earlier on. Second went to Jason Rogers, third was Tathan Burkhart, fourth was Garrett Hager, and fifth was Bobby Eubanks. Hard charger in the event was Jason Dove who gained eight spots, other nice runs included Tathan Burkhart up five spots, while Jason Rogers and Kyle Pfeifer gained five spots each.

Gottschalk Collects another Modified Win!

The modifieds ran two heat races won by Jeremy Frenier and Daniel Gottschalk, their twenty-lap main event started with a front row of Ayden Steffens and Dalton Bell. Quickly a side-by-side battle broke out for the race lead as Daniel Gottschalk was ready to rumble. Gottschalk led lap one, and lap two saw him open up a slight lead, with Frenier in tow quickly. Frenier looked inside on lap three but could not make the pass. Meanwhile the fastest car on track Clay Money had charged up to third after five laps. The rookie Cale Lagroon was making moves in the field as well. Mike Bainter went for a spin with eight laps to go and bunched the field back up. Gottschalk fired to the restart zone and tried to hold off a very fast Clay Money. Clay Money went for a spin after Frenier made contact coming out of turn two, Ayden Steffens unable to avoid running into the back of Money ending their night. Gottschalk restarted the field, while Rohleder and Sellard were side by side for second. Sellard settled into the second-place position, unable to track down Gottschalk. Daniel Gottschalk grabbed his fourth win of the season, three of them coming in at WaKeeney. Second was Clay Sellard, third was Dylan Sherfick, fourth was Kyle Rohleder, and rookie Cale Lagroon finished fifth. Hard charger in the event was Brent Fielder who gained eight spots; other nice runs included Kyle Rohleder up five spots, while Clay Sellard, Dylan Sherfick, John Webb and Danny Keller all gained four spots each.
